Brandon Knight 2011 NBA Draft Analysis

This years draft was a nightmare. The top two players, Irving and Williams were being described as poor men’s versions of NBA all-stars. Not a great way to start an NBA career. There was one shining moment in this years draft and it was when the Detriot Pistons picked Brandon Knight, from Kentucky, as the number 8 overall. It was an NBA Draft miracle that he dropped so low.

Brandon Knight the saving grace for the Detroit Pistons. Finally they can rid themselves of Mr. Good On Paper, Rodney Stuckey. This could be the biggest draft moment in Pistons’ history. First you get the next Isiah Thomas and then you get the opportunity to bury Stuckey. It’s a win-win situation.

He’s smart and talented. The best combination for the best PG for the next 10 years.

They also picked up winner, leader-guy Kyle Singler. According to Pistons vice-president of player personnel Scott Perry Singler has winner-iness, toughness, and leader-y-ness. All traits that are needed to win the next few NBA championships.
